The lbackstrip''s lettering & Beginner Book logo are bright & colorful The endpapers have a little bit of light soiling. The backstrip is lightly faded & has edgewear on the top & bottom. Other than the scuffs, the illustration & lettering on the front board is bright & colorful. 1, 1966 In a faraway place/in a wide empty land/my house is a tent/ in the wind and the sand.'' All of the verses are at this deadly level and none of the various sorts of houses in an international lineup of quaint dwellings that go from hots to stilt shacks are identified by country. The boards have some wear, soiling, & edgewear with bumped corners. The front board has 2 scuffs close to the top edge (in the title) that are shown in the photographs. Yellow endpapers with red illustrations of lots of international houses and black silhouette of child and footprints going around all of the houses. Pale blue buckram boards & backstrip with large multicolor illustration of lots of different types of international houses with red & black lettering on the front board.
