The marriage lie
With the help of her twin brother and the husband of another passenger killed in the crash, Iris looks for answers and is shocked at the answers she finds. Iris doesn’t want to believe the news and wonders why Will would lie about where he was going. The school holds a counseling session for the students, and during a break Iris finds out on the news that Will is one of the passengers on the flight. Later that morning while Iris is at her private school job as a counselor, news breaks out that a plane has crashed en route to Seattle with no passengers surviving. Will has to catch a flight to Orlando in a few hours to present at a business conference. It’s the morning of their seventh anniversary, and Will gives Iris a trinity ring from Cartier which they cannot afford as they discuss wanting to start a family.
